In this class taught by Cindy Howell of The Spiral Connection, you will learn a wire wrap technique to create a pendulum/pendant using a genuine Ruby from India. Cindy was able to source only a few of these at a recent gem show. The tops of these gemstones exhibit a star.

Complete instruction, tools and all supplies are provided. You will create this stunning piece using pure copper wire and beads as well as two genuine Black Tourmaline beads. You will have the option to oxidize the piece, which gives it an antiqued look. This pendant/pendulum is reversible as well (see picture ) and you will also be provided with a chain.

This suggested as an intermediate class, for those who have worked with wire, beading or basic jewelry techniques.

Star Ruby from India are natural Corundum and are a 9 on the Mohs scale of hardness, making it extremely durable. These gemstones connect to the root chakra. They are used by Lightworkers to integrate energy into the body and also to shield from negativity. They also symbolize Faith, Hope and Divine Guidance.
